Aftermath of Hurricane Irene 2011!!!

Hurricane Irene came down upon my area over the weekend and with heavy rains and wind, we were lucky to be able to make it out ok. Only a few branches fell here and there. However, down my block here in Queens, NYC, a few trees fell and I took some pics to document what happened.

I know this isn’t my usual blog entry, but thought this was interesting to show!
